During the months of October and November you have the opportunity to nominate up to three teachers to be awarded the Golden Apple Award. This award recognizes exceptional teachers here at Riverton High and across the State. We would ask you to consider teachers that have made a difference in our students lives. Think about the teachers that go the extra mile in order to bless the lives of their students and help them learn and grow. Think of teachers that help their students succeed and feel good about the subjects they are learning and themselves. Think of that teacher that really helped when their students did not understand a concept. Please consider teachers that make their students want to become better students or even become teachers someday.
It is very important for us to honor those who work hard to make Riverton such a wonderful school to attend. You have until November 30th to make your nominations. You can turn in your nominations at the main office to be placed in the PTA box or email them to amy_m30@msn.com. We would love to receive nominations from parents, students, faculty and staff or anyone who is aware of an exceptional teacher that should receive this honor. Please include information about why you have chosen your nominee. We will honor three winners in December and then advance at least one winner to the region level. Our winners will have the opportunity to be recognized at a state level. Please take the time to help us honor those that work so hard to improve and enhance our students education.
