From the PTSA

Dear RHS Students, Families, Teachers and staff,

RHS PTSA would like to thank you for your support as we begin a new school year. Many of you have already joined or donated to PTSA and we greatly appreciate it.  We are off to a good start, this year, we held an assembly to educate students about bullying and how hurtful it can be to those being bullied. We have also kicked off the Reflections program and we are hopeful that many students will participate.  PTSA at RHS sponsors and supports many activities and programs at the school such as: Battle of the Bands, Silver Rush, and teacher/staff luncheon during parent-teacher conferences, red ribbon week, senior graduation party and many more.  If you are interested in volunteering we often have small projects that we can use help with as well as some board positions.  Please call Sheila at (801) 254-1528 or email: sheilamcd@msn.com to sign up.  We would also welcome anyone who would still like to join or donate to PTSA to go online or in the main office to do so. As a board we thank you for the opportunity of being involved in projects and programs that we feel enhance student life.  One such program was Comcast Cares Day, as a PTSA we wrote to Comcast asking to be chosen for their cleanup program.  We were excited to hear that RHS was selected for spring 2014 and we loved working with so many students, families, teachers and community members.  This program was a great lesson in service to our school and community.  So thank you all for your amazing support to PTSA.
