FCCLA

January and February have been really busy for RHS FCCLA.  the students have participate in the National campaign "FCCLA at the TABLE" where they helped prepare and eat with their families. FCCLA
 Region Conference was on February 5th.  Students have been working and preparing to compete in STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition).   The students represented RHS well and received the following recognition at Region:
GOLD:  Lakyn Butterfield, Madi Burgess, Sierra Francis, Victoria Steeneck

SILVER: Caitlin Stock, Madison Sansom, Megan Sansom, Emma Angell, Kaitlyn Wallace,
Megan Whitefield, Mikayla Christiansen, Shayle Karchner, Katja Akiyama, Nicole McDonald, Kaitlyn Knappenberger, Whitney Nordhoff, Annalisa Lewsi, Maddy Warr, Anyah Zupanic, Steffanie Omiquitte, Emma Geersten, ElizabethtRasmussen, Rashae Moody

BRONZE:  Hannah Nay, Ashley Lund, Kyra Eckles, Amberly Frandsen, Emma Carlsen

February 9-13 was National FCCLA Week.  The RHS FCC
LA officers planned activities for each day which included Go Fish, Ninja's, and drawing competitions in the commons.  An RHS Chapter lunch on Wednesday and breakfast on Friday.

Students are now preparing for the FCCLA State Conference on March 10th and 11th at the Davis Convention Center.  Their STAR Events are very well done and we wish them the best of luck as they compete with students from all over the state.

Chapter activities will be on Thursday March 12th and April 16th.  Applications for RHS Chapter Officer will be available onApril 1st from any FACS teacher.  The date in May for the closing social and induction of the new officers will be announced at a later date.
