From the PTSA

OPERATION VALENTINE

We would like to thank the community of Riverton and the schools, senior citizens, local
daycare centers and church organizations for their overwhelming support of this
project.  With your help we gathered 12,897 valentines and they were shipped to military
men and women serving in the United States and abroad.  We also delivered about 2,000
valentines to the Salt Lake Veterans Hospital.

Thanks for showing our military that Utah Cares!

Earning for Learning Day (formerly PTA Day) will be Thursday April 23rd, 2015

Please mark your calendars and bring your shopping list to any Harmon’s store.
On that day Harmon’s will donate 5% of net sales to be divided among participating
schools.  Last year Harmon’s donated over $54,000 to Utah schools and hope to
increase it by 5% this year.  Please spread the word to family members, neighbors,
co-workers and neighbors.  Riverton High will be at the South Jordan store at the District
between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm and PTSA student group members will be hosting a tattoo table
and SBO”S will be hosting a face painting table. Funds that are donated to Riverton High
will be used to continue programs and projects that benefit the student body.

On behalf of the entire RHS PTSA board we would like to thank you for your support this school year.

Thank You,
Sheila McDonald
RHS PTSA President
